The 3Package Deal brings together fifteen artists working across a wide range of disciplines. This talent development programme by AFK and Bureau Broedplaatsen, now in its twelfth edition, provides each artist with one year of dedicated support: affordable living and working space, a €25,000 development budget, personal coaching, and access to Amsterdam’s leading cultural organisations and their networks.
Each artist is guided by a coalition of cultural institutions across the city, forming a unique constellation of mentorship and collaboration. Through this, they are given the opportunity to deepen their practice, develop new work, or conduct research throughout 2025.
The 2025 participants come from a wide range of backgrounds — from Thailand to Syria, from Martinique to Iran – bringing together perspectives that are as diverse as they are urgent. Their media are just as diverse, ranging from cabaret and theater to visual art and fashion.
The Amsterdam Fund for the Arts (AFK) distributes most of the arts and culture grants in Amsterdam. Guided by our mission “Fantastic art for all Amsterdammers,” the AFK contributes to a vibrant cultural city where everyone has the opportunity to create or experience art. That’s why the AFK supports all art forms, in every district and every neighborhood — from professional artists to community groups creating culture in their free time, from established institutions to pioneers working on the city’s fringes, and everything in between.
Bureau Broedplaatsen is part of the municipality of Amsterdam. Its task is to realize more affordable studios and (residential) workspaces for artists and incubator groups. Bureau Broedplaatsen does this in collaboration with target group organisations, city districts, central services, corporations, real estate agents, developers, and banks.
